Sveta,

I know it has been a long time since I tried to contact you. I had stopped by the visitation area the last time I was in Brickstown, but you were obviously preoccupied. I hope you received the candies I had purchased for you. They were made special in Founder's Falls by a meta-chocolate-maker (or at least that is what the sign on the front of his push cart said).

I hope you have been making some friends where you are. I know it is not easy meeting new people, especially when they have been incarcerated. It could be worse, though; you could be stuck in my old labor camp outside of Odessa. At least they are keeping you clothed and fed. Your rehabilitation officer says that you have regrown your hair and have put on some weight. That is good news. I will try and drop off more chocolates next time I am in Brickstown.

I have met a girl. Her name is Lena, otherwise known as the Russian Trawler. While I am not sure what she does when not on patrol, she has a very excellent selection of exciting clothing. It is hard keeping my focus on one girl, but I am trying very hard to be faithful. Nothing in life is easy, Sveta, as I am sure you well know by now.

I know I was not a very good father, Sveta, and I apologize for that. It has been almost a year since our falling out, and I think about you every day. I wish you would let me talk to you the next time I visit. I do not harbor any ill-will, I just want to be sure they are treating you properly.

Please respond,
Pavel
